Add, Edit, and Manage Bookmarks in Brave app on iPhone or iPad

The Brave app has the bookmarking feature that helps in saving the frequently visiting site into it’s Bookmarks folder.

The Brave’ bookmark management allows us to edit the bookmark link, title, and delete the saved link that are no longer required. You can create multiple folder to arrange and categories the saved links.

Bookmarking a Web Page in Brave app

Bookmarking a page will store the page address into the browser Bookmarks folder that you can open again when required. You can follow these steps for bookmarking a page URL:

1. Launch the Brave browser on your iPhone.
2. Open a page that you want to bookmark.
3. Tap on More for options and select Add Bookmark option.
4. Tap on Save command.
   

The sites/pages you bookmark are saved by default in the Mobile Bookmarks folder. However, you can create and move the bookmarks in to other folder, I have shared those instructions below.

Accessing the Saved Bookmarks

Now that we have saved the bookmark, what if you want to revisit that page? In that case you can open the link from the Bookmarks Manager folder within the Brave app. Follow on these steps:

1. Launch the Brave browser on you iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap on More and select Bookmarks menu.
3. Access the Mobile Bookmarks folder to check out the list of saved bookmarks.
4. Tap on the link to open the saved bookmark in the browser tab.
   

The webpage will be loaded in the active browser tab and you can continue your view the page.

Edit a Saved Bookmarked Link

You can edit the bookmarks that are saved in your Brave browser app. You can edit the link, title, and bookmark location if need. Follow the steps for editing a bookmark:

1. Launch the Brave browser on your device.
2. Tap on More > Bookmarks menu.
3. Open the Mobile Bookmarks to view the list of saved links.
   
4. Now, Swipe left on the bookmark you want to edit and select Edit command.
5. Make the required changes to the URL or page title.
6. Tap on Save command to confirm the changes.
   

The changes will be saved according and available for your in the Bookmarks menu.

Create a New Bookmarks Folder

By default, all the bookmarks are stored in the Mobile bookmark folder, however, you can choose to store in different bookmarks and segregate them according to your need.

You can create a new bookmarks folder and start adding or moving the existing bookmarks into the new folder. Follow these steps:

1. Launch the Brave app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap on More > Bookmarks menu.
3. Go to Mobile Bookmarks.
   
4. Swipe-left on the any existing Link, and select the Edit command.
   It shall open the link in editing mode.
5. Under the LOCATION section, tap on the Mobile Bookmarks folder.
   
6. Select the New Folder command and give it a name.
7. Hit on the Save command to move the existing bookmark to this new folder.
   

That’s it. Next time when saving a page as a bookmark, you can choose the newly created folder to store the link instead of the default Mobile bookmarks.

Similarly, you create multiple folder and move your bookmarks to arrange them according to needs.

Delete the Saved Bookmarks from Brave app

If a bookmark or saved link is no longer needed, that you can consider deleting it from the browser app. Follow on these steps:

1. Launch the Brave browser app on your device.
2. Tap on More > Bookmarks menu.
   
3. Open the Mobile Bookmarks (or any bookmark folder) to view the list of saved links.
4. Swipe-left on the bookmark you want to delete.
5. Select the Delete command and confirm the deletion.
   

The saved bookmark will be removed from the browser. You can also choose to delete the bookmark folder if required.

Bottom Line

Bookmarks helps in revisit and recollecting the information that you need to frequently visit. And the ability to manage the bookmarks within the Brave app is quite helpful.

Having said that, if you have multiple devices connected/linked with same Brave account, the bookmark changes made on any one device will reflect on other devices.
