The saved card can be modified and deleted if it is no longer needed. The browser securely stores the card details to avoid misuse.

Bottom Line
If you are fond of shopping online, the credit card autofill feature will come in handy for you. It becomes tedious to fill in your card information all the time.
Similarly, we can add to store the card details in Safari browser on iPhone and iPad. The saved cards are synced with iCloud account which shall be available on all Apple devices.
