Here are the steps to change the default search engine on Safari browser on macOS computer:

  1. Launch the Safari browser app on Mac.
  2. Click on the Safari menu from the menubar.
  3. Select Preferences… menu under Safari, this will open a new preferences window.
  4. Switch to the Search tab within the preferences window.
  5. From the Search engine drop-down, select the preferred engine.
