Here are the steps to change the default search engine on Safari browser on macOS computer:
- Launch the Safari browser app on Mac.
- Click on the Safari menu from the menubar.
- Select Preferences… menu under Safari, this will open a new preferences window.
- Switch to the Search tab within the preferences window.
- From the Search engine drop-down, select the preferred engine.
This will change the search engine on the safari browser and the new chosen website will be set as default. Next time when you perform the website search, the results will appear from the new search engine.
