- Launch the Firefox browser on the computer.
- Click on More
for the menu options list.
- Select the More Tools menu from the list.
- Click on Customize Toolbar option.
- You can drag and drop the item to add or remove them from the toolbar.
- Drag and drop the items as per your preferences.
- Hit the command button to save changes.
We can also change the Theme or Density of icons from the options available at the bottom of Customize Firefox.
From the Toolbars option, you can also switch between the Firefox Menu bar and Bookmarks Toolbar per need.
This way, you can customize the Firefox browser as required and make it more appealing. If you dislike the changes, you can always click on Restore Defaults to reset to the original toolbar.
Move or Remove a Section
You can make the homepage layout of the Firefox browser more appealing by moving or removing a section you do not want. Follow these steps to move or remove sections:
- Launch the Firefox browser on the computer.
- Hover your mouse anywhere on the section you want to move or remove.
- Click on More
in the upper right corner of the section.
- Choose between the Remove Section, Collapse Section, and Manage Section options.
This will help you in moving or removing sections as per your preferences. You can always add back the removed section from the home page screen.
Customize Top Sites on Homepage
Firefox, by default, shows a list of the most visited sites on the homepage so you can easily access them. Customizing the top sites will enhance your productivity and make your homepage more appealing.
Here are the steps to add a new site to the Top Site list:
- Launch the Firefox browser on the computer.
- Scroll down to the TOP SITES section.
- Click on More
for menu options.
- Hit on
command button. - Now enter the Site Title and URL in the respective fields.
- Hit on the button.
This will add the site to the list of top new sites on Firefox. It will help you enhance your browsing experience.
