How to Add Card and Manage Payments in Samsung Internet?

Learn how to add credit details and other payment methods for autofill and usage on Samsung Internet. These stored payment cards will be used for quick pay.

You don’t need to carry your bulky wallet everywhere, with Samsung Internet you can add your preferred payment mode. Once the payment method is added, you will be able to make all online payments on Samsung Internet with a single click.

I used the Samsung Internet browser to shop online. It is a challenging task for me to enter my payment information each time I check out a cart. I was frustrated and decided to switch from Samsung Internet to Google Chrome, as Google Chrome allows you to add payment information for faster checkout.

I was in a discussion with my friends regarding the same, he has suggested some easy steps for me to add payment methods and cards to Samsung Internet. Those steps helped me a lot to improve my shopping experience. I don’t have to enter payment information every time as the Samsung Internet auto-fill function does itself.

Some of you might ask, is it safe to store payment information on Samsung Internet? I have saved my payment information and till the time regards the security. It is very safe, your payment won’t be processed until you verify with biometrics authentication and CVV number.

Add Cards in Samsung Internet

Samsung Internet not only allows you to add your credit card information but also a debit card as a preferred mode of payment. So next time when you make you make any payment it will automatically fill up the card details for your convenience.

Here are the steps to add card details to Samsung Internet:

  1. Launch the Samsung Internet app on the mobile phone.
  2. Tap on horizontal 3bar icon button located at the bottom right corner.
  3. Select the Settings menu from the list.

  4. Under the Advanced section, tap on Privacy and Security settings.

  5. Scroll to the Personal data section and make sure that the Autofill toggle is enabled.
  6. Tap on the Autofill forms menu.

  7. Select the Credit and debit cards option within Autofill forms.

  8. Click on the Add button located in the upper right corner.
  9. Enter the card information in the fields.

  10. Hit on the Save command button.

The credit card details will be saved in the Samsung Internet browser. Next time when you make any online transaction, the Internet browser will automatically detect the field and pop-up the card detail to be selected.

The payment option varies from country to country, for example, a credit card is available in the US, UK, Canada, etc. which India has something known as Unified Payment Interface (UPI) which is widely accepted across the country.

If you wish to add your UPI ID then click on the UPI ID instead of credit and debit cards.

Click on the Add button to add your UPI ID. This will lead you to a new screen where you need to enter your UPI ID and store it in the browser.

Manage Payment Methods in Samsung Internet

There are not many options to manage payment methods, you can just delete the payment. Samsung won’t allow even editing the payment method once added.

Here are the steps to delete the card details from Samsung Internet:

  1. Launch the Samsung Internet app on the mobile phone.
  2. Tap on horizontal 3bar icon button located at the bottom right corner.
  3. Select the Settings menu from the list.

  5. Scroll to the Personal data section and make sure that the Autofill toggle is enabled.
  6. Tap on the Autofill forms menu.

  8. Tap on the Delete link and select the Card from list.
  9. Hit on the Delete command at bottom of screen to clear the card details.

The selected card details will be cleared. If you’ve added any other payment method like UPI, you can follow the same steps to delete.

Bottom Line: Samsung Internet Payments

Samsung Internet can store your credit card information and UPI ID that can be used to speed up the payment processing.

Whenever you navigate to a website where you need to enter your payment information, Samsung Internet will autofill this information with a single tap. Though you need to add the card CVV number and fingerprint biometrics for verification which is not stored in the browser.

Verify your identity to use the saved credit card on samsung internet

Samsung Internet payment autofill feature helped a lot, now I am free of the hassle of remembering the credit card information. This allows me to make faster checkouts. But still, Samsung Internet lacks sync capabilities. You cannot sync your saved payment information with other browsers except Samsung Internet.
