How to Block Ads on Samsung Internet

The Samsung Internet browser has the feature to install adblocker extensions that completely block advertisements on websites. The ad blocker will be downloaded from the Google Play store. You can also enable the pop-up blocker, which will block any pop-up ads and also remove intrusive ads.

One of the best ways to block annoying and misleading ads is to block the pop-ups on the Samsung browser. Thankfully, the Samsung Internet has a built-in option to block pop-ups that can help discourage bad ads.

Here are the steps to block ads on Samsung Internet through settings:

  1. Launch the Samsung Internet app on Android.
  2. Tap on the More horizontal 3bar icon menu button located at the bottom right corner.
  3. Select the Settings menu from the list.
  4. Choose the Sites and download option menu.

Once you enable the pop-up blocker option, the misleading or pesky ads that misuse the pop-up features are entirely blocked.

However, please do note that it won’t completely block all ads. If you’re looking to block all the ads, follow the next method, which uses third-party AdBlock extensions.

Use AdBlocker on Samsung Internet

If the above method doesn’t help you enough, then you can take the help of the adblocker to add-ons to block ads on Samsung Internet.
